Cocoa Brown Gentle Bronze

Last week I was delighted to be invited along to the Cocoa Brown Spring Collection Cocktail Party at VCC. I met some fabulous new bloggers and got to mingle with Marissa Carter and hear all about her experience at the Oscars in LA! I had an amazing evening. I left the event with a bag full of new goodies to try out.

This week I decided to give the Gentle Bronze* a try. Gentle Bronze is one of three products included in the Cocoa Brown Spring Launch. I usually like a bronzed glow 7 days a week so I thought this would be perfect for weekdays when all you need is a subtle bronzed look. It is a moisturiser which also contains a hint of tan. If applied every day it creates a tanned glow and allows you to build up a colour from a light glow to a gentle bronze.

What Marissa says about Gentle Bronze- ‘Gentle Bronze is the perfect tan for those ladies who want a dualaction product that that will both moisturise their skin and give them a hint of colour. For women who don’t usually tan, Gentle Bronze is a brilliant introduction and will show them exactly what they were missing out on!'

I applied the product on Wednesday evening and by Thursday morning my skin had a natural tanned glow. The moisturiser has a hint of colour in it so it is easy to apply and you can immediately spot if you have missed patches. It feels so light and luxurious on your skin, and left my skin feeling soft and hydrated, it really is a gorgeous product! I was thrilled with the colour I had the next morning, it was slightly darker than I anticipated but I was very happy with the results. I applied the Moisturiser again last night so I have a deeper colour for the weekend! See before and after pictures below-

Cocoa Brown products are available nationwide at Boots, Penneys, Superdrug, Tescos and several pharmacies across the country.

P.S. Range at Penneys

I first heard about the new P.S. range of beauty products from Frillseeker. I could not wait to try out this new range. A few days later I noticed a few products were finally available in stores. The P.S. range includes a selection of beauty products, including nail polishes, eyeliners, blush and eye shadows.

I decided to pick up two nail polishes.. because who doesn't need more nail polish!  I purchased a bright pink shade and a pretty red shade. The Polish is absolutely gorgeous. It comes in beautiful packing, the boxes are black and gold with a pink polka dot design. The Brush is flat and wide which makes the application process fast and easy. I applied two layers of the polish and two layers of Seche Vitae Topcoat to create a gorgeous glossy finish. The polish lasted on my nails about five days before chips appeared. The Polish retails for €1.50.

The P.S. range is now widely available in Penney's store nationwide. Has anyone else tried out products from the P.S. Range? I hear the eye shadow Palette is a great dupe for the Naked Palette, it may have to be my next P.S. purchase!

Cocoa Brown Goes To Hollywood

Last week the gorgeous Cocoa Brown team set off to LA to tan the beautiful people at the Oscars. The ladies stayed at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. The Penthouse Suite of the hotel was transformed in to a Cocoa Brown Pink Party inviting guests and stars to come and meet the team and introduce them to the Cocoa Brown Products.

Marissa, speaking about the Pre-Oscars event-
“It’s amazing that I launched Cocoa Brown just over 1 year ago and here I am in The Beverly Hilton Hotel tanning all these celebrity clients. Not only is it great for an Irish brand but for a brand like us that is still so young. I just know the celebrities will all love their Cocoa Brown glow!”

Cocoa Brown is one of the most popluar tanning and skin care companies in UK & Ireland. It is sold in several retailers across UK & Ireland including Penneys, Boots, Tesco and Superdrug. Cocoa Brown is my absolute favourite tan. The 1 hour tan is an amazing product. It develops within one hour and gives a perfect natural bronzed glow to your skin.
Cocoa Brown will soon release new products, see picture below. I cannot wait to get my hands on The Lovely Legs Spray, its looks amazing... who doesn't want flawless pins!

I have followed Cocoa Brown from the beginning and I am thrilled to hear of their continued success. It is fantastic to see an Irish Company doing so well, especially in such a short space of time since the first Cocoa Brown One Hour (holy grail) tan was launched. Congratulations to Marissa Carter and The Cocoa Brown Team!

Tanya Burr Lip Gloss Review

I could not wait to get my hands on one of these! I have watched Tanya Burr's YouTube videos for years, she has great tips and tutorials and always gives great reviews of new products and Brands.

I was thrilled when I heard she was bringing out her own Lips and Nails Range. Once the products became available on Cloud10beauty I bought a lip gloss straight away. There are 12 lip glosses in the range, 5 shimmer shades & 7 cream shades.

I decided on the shade Chic. Chic is a neutral coral shade. I was looking for an everyday lip colour so I thought this would be perfect for me. The gloss has a gorgeous sugar, chocolate kind of scent. It glides onto the lips, has great pigmentation and leaves a gorgeous glossy finish. It is not too sticky which is great, this can be a problem with other glosses, especially in this country where you have to pull off the windswept look almost everyday, its bad enough without having your hair stuck to your lips!

Well done Tanya, Your lip glosses are beautiful. I am already thinking about my next Tanya Burr purchase, I cannot wait to try a colour from the Nail Polish range.

Has anyone else bought a product from Tanya Burr's Lips and Nails Range?
