Got2b Sea Salt Spray

While browsing in Boots last week I came across this beauty! I have been on the look out for a sea salt spray for a while, so when I noticed this on special in Boots I decided to give it a go!

Got2b Sea Salt Spray creates the look of wavy beachy hair. You simply apply a few spritz to damp hair and scrunch hair dry. I absolutely loved the look this stuff created! My hair felt twice the size it usually does! I had nice beachy/messy waves with minimal effort.

The only downside I can see with this product is my hair felt sticky after use. The next day I wanted to throw it up in a pony or leave it down and it felt a bit limp as the residue of the product was still in my hair. I have hair extensions so I don't really have time to wash my hair every day. If you don't want the beachy/messy look again the next day I guess the only resolution would be to wash the product out of your hair. It would probably be a good idea to invest in a clarify shampoo if you plan to use this product often.

All in all I was very happy with this product. It did exactly what I was hoping. I will get great use out of this product over the summer creating beachy waves for festivals, concerts and summer nights out.

Has anyone else tried this product?

Or have any Sea Salt Spray recommendations?

Valentine's Day Nails

So I may not have a boyfriend or someone to share my Valentine's Day with but.....that doesn't mean I can't do a nice Valentine's manicure right? I was painting my nails on Wednesday evening and decided to be a bit adventurous...

I painted my nails with this gorgeous light grey colour from OPI, unfortunately it doesn't have the name on the end of the bottle anymore so I don't no the name of it. I was just going to leave my nails at that but I decided seen as I had my whole nail kit out I would try do a small design.

I added tiny light pink pearls and small white hearts to my accent nails. I got these decorations a while ago on eBay. eBay is the best for buying inexpensive nails accessories- sequence, nail files, wraps, cuticle tools, basically anything you can think off!

I finished off the manicure with 2 layers of Seche Vite Topcoat (Review). This is a brilliant topcoat, it dries in seconds and leaves a gorgeous glossy finish. I'm nearly at the end of this bottle. I read on someone's blog, cant remember who, Seche Vite will be at The Irish Beauty Show at the RDS this year and will be discounted, so I will definitely be stocking up!

Happy Valentines Day!

Hello Pastel Nails

January is finally over and I figure seen as we are soooo close to Spring time, it is now acceptable to wear pastels nail colours!

I absolutely love pastel colours on nails. This week I decided to go for a beautiful lilac colour from Essence. This colour is called Hello Marshmallow, it is a soft lilac colour with hints of light purple glitter. I think Essence polish is absolutely fantastic, it is very reasonably priced and last for days on your nails. The application brush is wide and flat which makes application very easy. I usually finish off my Essence manicure with the Gel-look topcoat, this is one of my absolute favourite topcoats, it allows my nail polish to last twice as long and leaves a gorgeous glossy finish. Review on Essence topcoat here.

I was thrilled to read on Beaut.ie that although Wet n Wild has replaced Essence shelves at Dunnes Stores, Essence will still be available to purchase at Penneys and selected chemists.

Have you seen the picture of the new Essence range arriving this Spring, photo below!

I also caught a glimpse of the new Bloom Me Up! Collection which will also hits shelves this Spring, lets hope we see some of this in Ireland, Look at those brushes!!
