La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo

I have heard so many great things about this product so I was extra excited when I received a free sample of it at the pharmacy last week.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo is a Moisturiser which can be used daily. It combines 4 active ingredients (Niacinamide, Piroone Olamine, LHA/Linoleic Acid) which help prevent breakouts and blemishes on the skin.

What La Roche- Posay say about it- 'Pores are unclogged and purified to help reduce the development of future breakouts. Helps to reduce skin imperfections leaving skin looking clearer and feeling smoother.

Good News-
Prevents breakouts- I found my skin was much clearer after a few days using this product
Does not dry out your skin
Unclogs pores
Nice consistency- not too heavy on your skin
Lightly scented

Bad News-
Slightly pricey at €16 for 40ml

I would recommend this product to anyone who deals with weekly breakouts. It definitely cleared up my skin and I think my pores appear smaller after a week of using this product.

Has anyone else tried out this product?

  2. I absolutely love the whole Effaclar line. I use the cleansing gel as well as the Effaclar Duo for spot treatments and Effaclar Mat as a moisturizer. It is pricey but it definitely works so I think it's worth it!

I've nominated you for the Liebster Award - you can check out the details in my latest post! xx
