Cocoa Brown Tan Review

I heard about this tan from loads of different sources so I had to give it a try. I'm a huge fan of fake tan, my usual favourites are No7 Perfectly Bronzed Self Tan Quick Dry Tinted Lotion, Penney’s St. Moriz Tan & Sublime Bronze Tinted Gel by L'Oréal.

Cocoa Brown is a new Irish tan created by Marissa Carter. It promises to give you a sun kissed glow in just ONE HOUR!

Accelerating ingredients means the tan only needs to be left on the skin for 1 HOUR and can rinsed off after that. If you prefer a deeper tan you can leave the mousse on your skin for up to three hours. (1 hour = light, 2 hours = medium, 3 hours = dark). Info from

Good News-
The tan is inexpensive at just €7.99 per 150ml bottle (I usually get 3-4 applications out of one bottle).
The tan has a colour which makes it easier when applying it to the skin.
It really does develop in one hour leaving you with a lovely natural looking tan.
The tan also fades off extremely well.

Bad News-
I can't really fault this product! The only thing I can think of- It dries quite quickly which is great as you don't have the usual standing around waiting time and it means your clothes/bed linen aren't destroyed with tan. I would just advise to be cautious when applying it so you don’t end up missing patches or creating dark patches around the elbows/knees etc.

I think this is an amazing new product, everyone should give it a try!

Cocoa Brown is available in pharmacies nationwide.
