Happy Birthday Dad!

Yesterday was my Dad's 51st Birthday! He's had a tough year with being sick last April, so we were all thrilled to be celebrating him being happy, healthy and 51st this year.

We had a lovely homemade shephards pie for dins, then we made some pancakes for dessert, it was a bit of a disaster without my mom there to help us! We burnt a few and half fried some others but it was all good fun!

Sarah and I got him a new tree for the garden with bird seeding for the birdies! I hope he liked it.

We also had some cake and sang him Happy Birthday! I hope he really enjoyed his day, we're all heading to TGI's (his fav restaurant) on Friday night for more Celebrations!

Homemade Bath Salts

On Sunday evening I helped my mom with one of her College projects. We made some homemade bath salts, its very easy to do and we had great fun!

Ingredients:

• Salts - we used Lavender
• Milk powder
• Baking soda
• Flower petals or buds (e.g. chamomile, lavender)
• Oats

Preparation:
1. Pour milk, oats and baking soda into a large bowl

2. Mix in salts

3. Use a spoon to scoop a measure of the salts onto a piece of fabric

4. Tie Fabric with string or piping

5. Enjoy a nice relaxing Bath!



As St. Patricks day is just around the corner we decorated some in green white and orange!

Day trip to Powerscourt House

On Sunday my sister Sarah, and i took a trip to Powerscourt House & Gradens, Enniskerry. It was a beautiful sunny day! Although it was a bit cold, we made sure to wrap up nice and warm so we could take our time walking around the gardens, it really was beautiful!

After our walk, we had Lunch in the Avoca tearooms in Powerscourt House, they have the most amazing food.

We walked off a bit of lunch strolling around the shops and brought home some Avoca treats for Sunday afternoon.

We also took a quick peek into the Ritz on the way in, the Hotel looks amazing!

All in all, it was a fantastic Sunny Sunday!

March!

Little things to look forward to in March:

-Girls night out this Saturday with all my lovely ladies!!

-My super duper Dad's Birthday is on the 6th!

-My beautiful friend Hayley is turning the big 26 on the 7th!

-St Patricks Day madness on the 17th!

- Mother's Day on the 18th!

-and my cousin Elaine is having her hens weekend on the 30th, its going to be wild!! She's getting married in May! Exciting!!
