Can't get enough of... Sunkissed Self-Tan Mousse

I am absolutely in love with this tan. I first discovered it in Primark when I took a trip to London, as I only had carry on luggage I wasn't able to bring large quantities of liquids so I decided to pick up some tan while I was out shopping for the day. This tan immediately caught my eye.

The packaging is gorgeous, I love the bottle, the dark brown shade really draws in the dark tan lovers, and the neon orange gives it is a fresh summer look. I decided to opt for the medium colour, as I already had tan on I didn't want to go too dark. The mousse is very easy to apply, it glides on to your skin. The mousse has a colour in it which means you don't miss any patches. It is a gorgeous consistency and leaves a lovely glow to your skin, which is patch and streak free. I cant remember the exact price, I think its approx €4/€5, bargain!

I left the tan on for the day and washed it off that evening, this is my favourite thing about this tan- the tan stayed on my skin. I find with other tans after I shower half the colour seems to disappear and I'm left a bit pasty. This tan has amazing staying power, you are the same colour (or very close to it) coming out of the shower as you are going in. This is a huge plus in my book!

The other great thing about this tan is the way the tan comes off your skin. With some other tans you can be left with patches and horrible marks or what I like to call giraffe looking skin! I hate when tan comes off in patches and leaves you with a horrible patchy skin tone. Sunkissed Mousse is completely different, it gradually fades from your skin, lighter and lighter without any scaliness. It also stays on my skin for 3 to 4 days before it begins to fade which is fantastic.

I cannot say enough good things about this tan it is truly an amazing product. As I had never spotted it in Penneys Ireland, I bought two bottles of it in the UK and asked my sister to post them over to me, maybe a little crazy, but when you find a fabulous tan it has to be done! I was thrilled when my friend noticed it on sale in Penneys Dundrum two weeks ago, I almost jumped straight into the car to go buy in bulk ha!

I am off to Tenerife in 2 weeks, I cant wait!!!! I will definitely be layering this tan on before I head off to the sun! Has anyone else given this tan a try?

My Room Tour

I recently moved and I got to design a gorgeous new room for myself and I had to share its beauty with the world. After a lot of thought I decided to go for a white and grey theme, all my friends will know I am a huge fan of the colour white which can be a problem when I am also a huge fake tan fanatic. I think I might have to invest in a tanning tent or onesies to sleep in, my white sheets and walls will be ruined! Anyway back to the room... I took a trip to Ikea and basically bought every Ikea storage unit and drawers I have every wanted and a few extra bits too!

Being makeup obsessed I had to purchase some beautiful makeup storage. I was so excited putting this onto my Ikea trolley, it's called the Malm Dressing table, I am absolutely in love with this dresser. It has a gorgeous glass finish and a wide drawer for makeup storage. In this drawer I keep the makeup and beauty products I use on a daily basis. I picked up these plastic storage inserts at Ikea (Antonius). They fit perfectly into the dresser drawer.

On The desk I keep my gorgeous mirror (present from my sister I'm not sure where she purchased it, Sarah leave a comment below!). I also have a mirrored box I got as a promotional gift with perfume and a Brush bucket I got in Penneys.

I purchased the lipstick container from ebay at the awesome price of €3 link here. I haven't managed to fill the acrylic box just yet (Ikea, Godmorgon) I think maybe I overdid it a bit with the makeup storage, oh well any excuse to go and purchase some more! The brush pots are also Ikea (Skurar).

I also picked up this Malm chest of drawers. This chest contains six drawers, 4 large and 2 small top drawers. The drawers are very deep and durable. This is a great storage unit for all my clothes and I even managed to fit some of my lighter shoes and heels in the bottom drawer. The Frames are also from Ikea.

So obviously I had to pick up the Alex storage unit too. I love love love this unit, I think I have wanted one of these for about 2 years! I had so much fun filling it with all my makeup. My makeup is so neat and organised now... long maybe it last. Again the plastic containers are from Ikea (Antonius).

I am in love with my colour coordinated Nail Polish drawer, I gave away a lot of nail polishes to charity when I moved so I will have to stock up on a few more now to completely fill up this drawer.

The last few pictures are of my bed. As you can see its very white! Yes the tanning is going to be a problem! I purchased these gorgeous sheets from Penney's, I believe they were €18. I also picked up two grey pillow slips from Penney's, price €4, I think they really add to the bedspread and give it a chic look. The grey cushions are also a Penney's purchase. The grey throw is from Ikea (Gurli).
My white bed side table is from Ikea, (Brusali) . It was an unplanned purchase but I seen it and fell in love, I love the rustic white colour. I picked up my little cute owl in The Euro Store.

I am thrilled with how the room turned out. I hope you guys enjoyed the tour, a bit different to the usual beauty posts!
