Get your feet Summer ready

Summer has finally arrived and its time to get the pins and feet out into the sunshine... well if we get some sunshine in Ireland. Pedicures can be quite expensive so I usually try to do my maintenance at home. This year Micro have introduced a new product called the *Micro Pedi Nano. This product is designed with a new compact shape, which exfoliates and removes hard, dry, rough skin while being gentle on your feet, leaving your heels and soles soft and beautiful. The Micro Nano does not contains Blades, it uses a micro-mineral roller that rotates at 30 times per second.

I could not wait to give this product a try. The packaging is gorgeous, I love the compact size of the product, I have built up a huge collection of mani/pedi bits over the years, so its handy it does not take up too much space in my kit. It would also be very handy when travelling. The Nano comes in three colours, Pink, Orange and Blue.
I was a bit apprehension after first turning on the Pedi Nano, the roller turns very quickly, I wasn't sure if it would be painful, so I decided to use my mom as the first guinea pig to give it a try. She was pleasantly surprised, there was no pain and her feet were transformed in seconds. The results were amazing (See pictures below). The roller quickly removed dry skin leaving her skin feeling and looking super soft and smooth.

TANchella‏ with Karora

Yesterday I was delighted to be invited to the TANchella rooftop party event for Karora's new Tan- Karora Ultra Dark Bronzing Mousse. The party was held on the rooftop of the Morgan Hotel in Temple Bar. I attended the event with my fellow blogger sister Sarah. We had a fantastic evening.

The event was very well organised and had plenty of activities, there was a barman at the door making delicious cocktails, a Tarot Card Reader, a Cartoonist and even a Henna Tattooist. I have attached some pictures of the amazing venue and setup. The party was Festival themed, I rooted out some of my festival clothes from Longitude last year. I love wearing headbands, they are the perfect accessory for the festival season. Everyone looked fantastic. I got to meet some other fellow bloggers and The Karora team who were all lovely ladies.

New NIVEA In-Shower Q10 Firming Body Moisturiser

I'm sure like myself daily moisturising seems like a task and a half. I can say I am definitely guilty of frequently leaving this step out of my beauty routine. Last year Nivea launched a new product, New NIVEA In-Shower Body Moisturiser, I could not wait to give it a go, anything to speed up the process sounded good to me. I tried this product and found it worked very well. After showering my skin immediately felt soft and moisturised no drying time, no stickiness, I was thrilled with the results.

This year NIVEA have launched a new product, *New NIVEA In-Shower Q10 Firming Body Moisturiser. This product claims to moisturise your skin during your shower routine but it also firms the skin. The product contains Coenzyme Q10 and Q10 massage beads. Q10 penetrates deep into the skin, leaving it feeling firm and mosturised. In-Shower Q10 Firming Body Moisuriser also helps to replenish Q10 levels naturally found in the skin, therefore it supports surface skin cell renewal and improves skins appearance.

As I am a huge fan of the first In-Shower Body moisturising product I could not wait to give this product a try. I can say it did not let me down, it is a beautiful product. At first it felt a bit strange to be apply moisteriser while in the shower but I have to say this product works very well. It has a fresh scent, not the usual Nivea fragrance but it still a beautiful scent. The product contains beads which blend with the cream and leave your skin feeling incredibly moisturised. My skin also felt slightly tighter after use, especially on my hip and thigh areas. I cant give a great review of the firming aspect as I have only been using the product for a few days.

I would recommend this product to anyone who, like myself, finds the daily moisturising routine a struggle.

More Ebay Brushes (Sigma Dupes)

I know I know as if I needed more makeup brushes, but I came across these while I was browsing and I just had to have them. I love getting new makeup brushes, everyone knows what a pain it is to clean all your brushes so getting inexpensive fresh new brushes on eBay is the way to go, for me anyway!

These brushes come in a set of 15 brushes. They have a black handle and gorgeous dark rose gold colour ferrules. The price for the set is €5, what a bargain, I almost bought myself a second set, but I thought I should wait and see what the quality was like. So far I am pretty impressed with these brushes, I especially love the angled eyebrow brush and the Mascara brush. The bristles are a made of goat hair and synthetic fibers, they are all amazingly soft and very dense, I have not noticed any shedding of any of the brushes. I'm not sure how cleaning them will go, hopefully they wont fall apart, it would break my rose gold heart!

Sunkissed Launches Rapid Tan Mousse

The Verdict-

The mousse is tinted which makes application a doddle. Although just like other 1 hour development tan I have tried, the mousse dries very quickly. This can be great when you want to apply tan and be able to throw on your clothes and leave the house straight away but it can also be a challenge to get the tan even and streak free when it almost dries instantly. Advice I would give when using this tan is to apply it to small areas at a time and a little goes a long way!
Similar to Sunkissed tanning products this mousse has a gorgeous fruity scent. I did not experience any usual burnt biscuit scent.
The tan is a beautiful colour. I tried the medium shade. I would say this shade is quite dark, I would probably apply this tan for weekends/nights out, I'm not sure I would use it for everyday use as it is quite dark. It is a gorgeous bronzed shade.
I rinsed the tan after one hour and I can honestly say I was left with a deep bronzed glow after 60 minutes. I was a bit skeptical at first but I was pleasantly surprised with the results. See photos below.

All in all I was happy with the results. If you are looking for a dark bronzed glow in just one hour then this is the tan for you!

Sunkissed will launch Rapid Tan in February online and in store at Superdrug and pharmacies nationwide.
